Museu d'Idees i Invents

Get creative

Exhibit in the Reflectionarium

This private museum in a 19th-century building was created in 2011 by inventor and entrepreneur Pep Torres (born in Barcelona in 1965), as a hands-on inspiration for new ideas and new inventions: among those here are you'll find the 'Mop Star' (a mop with a built in microphone, so you can croon while mopping) and fluorescent dog food, to make it easier to locate your pup's poo. It's divided into three sections: Limitless Society, Reflectionarium, and Corner of the Absurd, and has special activities for kids. Even the toilets are creative, and there's a fun shop selling items like square eggs and the 'useless' machine.
