Antonio Rossellino

Younger brother of the equally red-headed Bernardo, Antonio Gamberelli, nicknamed Rossellino (1427–79) was also a talented sculptor, noted for the fine touch of his chisel. He worked with Bernardo on the exquiste tomb of the Portuguese Cardinal in San Miniato, and after Bernardo's death took over his workshop with Mino da Fiesole; the two sculpted two of the finest panels on the pulpit in Prato's Duomo.

Also also sculpted the beautiful Madonna del Latte in Santa Croce and has works in the Bargello, but most of his other sculptures have since gone abroad.
