friarielli

turnip tops, or green peppers

This is a name often used in Lazio and Campania for cima di rapa or rapini. Neapolitans like to cook these greens with sausage. Some people call them broccoletti.

But in Campania, friarielli (or friggitelli) can also mean sweet green peppers, commonly fried with salt as a side dish.
