Tuaca

citrus and vanilla brandy

I can't help reaching for the Tuaca...Think panettone in liqueur form. Nigella Lawson

Sweet, dark golden-coloured brandy, made according to a secret formula that was said to have been invented for Lorenzo de' Medici in the Renaissance. Flavoured with vanilla, orange, and a hint of nutmeg, a favourite of old Italian men—before it became a hit among shot-swilling American youth, right on the heels of the best-selling Jagermeister. It was made in Livorno until 2010, when production moved to Louisville, Kentucky.

It's also used in cocktail: order a Tuaca Bomb and it comes mixed with Red Bull. Not for the timid.
