A popular Neapolitan street food now found throughout Italy, pagnottielli or pagnutielli are made of pizza dough or something slightly softer. Sometimes they are flat discs, then filled (you can even find them used as hamburger buns) and sometimes they are puffier, with the filling (ham, ciccioli, cheese or egg, etc) baked in.

Also called a panino napoletano.
