A cuppetiello or coppetiello can hold all sorts of things—mixed seafood fry, fried potatoes, lupins etc—but today the very popular cuppetiello napoletano is a mix of bite-sized fried treats: panzerotti, mini-arancini, pasta cresciuta (zeppoline), scagliuzzielli (fried bits of polenta) and various croquettes.
