Antonio Lombardo

Son of Pietro, brother of Tullio

Santa Maria dei Miracoli interior

Known for both sacred and mythological subjects, Antonio Lombardo (c.1458–1516) worked on many projects in Venice with his architect sculptor father Pietro and his brother Tullio, including the ineffable Santa Maria dei Miracoli. Later he went to work on his own for Duke Alfonso I of Ferrera, where he died.
