Filippo Parodi

Follower of Bernini

Candleholder by Parodi

Filippo Parodi (1630–1702) was a Genoese sculptor who adapted his master Bernini’s late, flowing style.

He worked only briefly in Venice, on the Monument of Bishop Francesco Morosini (San Nicolò da Tolentino), but also contribted several works in the nearby Basilica di Sant'Antonio in Padua.
