Lorenzo Veneziano
14th-century master
Lorenzo Veneziano (active 1356–79) was a disciple (but no relation) of Paolo Veneziano and painted in a luxurious, golden Byzantine style presaging International Gothic.
Works in San Giacomo dall'Orio, the Museo Correr and the Accademia, home of his famous 'Lion Polyptich'.
