Museo Memoriale Della Libertà

Dedicated to the Liberation in WWII

Room in the museum

Also known as the Museo del Grigioverde, museum is dedicated to the resistance fighters who fought to break the Gothic Line built by the Germans late in the war across the Po Plain. Five scenes from the war including a shelter, a bombardment and the Battle of Porta Lame, won by the Partisans, are re-enacted with sound and light effects. The museum also has some 50 military and other vehicles from the war.

Bologna has another museum dedicated to the Resistance in general, the Museo della Resistenza.
