If you can’t make your own glaçons, many supermarkets sell bags of them, especially in summer. Americans, used to finding ice machines in even the cheapest motels, will be disappointed by French hotels, unless they are staying at a business hotel near an airport where the managers has become sick and tired of American guests asking for ice.
