Araignée de mer covers several species of crabs with long hairy legs, big claws and a spiny body. A delicate meat, it should be simply cooked in a court-bouillon with homemade lemon mayonnaise. Pieces often appear on large seafood platters, or in a pot of bouillabaisse.
