Suillus granulatus (L.) Roussel. A lover of the pine woods, the mild tasting bolet granule is a summer mushroom that can be found throughout much of France; its English name is derived from the milky droplets exuded by its tiny pores.
Other names in French include cèpe jaune des pins, bolet jaune des pins, nonnette, nonnette pleureuse and pissacan.
