cèpe d’été

summer cep

Boletus reticulatus?

Boletus reticulatus, cèpe d’été is a very tasty bolete with an exceptional barrel-shaped stem found in the oak woods between May and September, especially after it’s been hot and humid. They are fairly common in western France, but you have to be lucky to get them before the insect larvae do.
