Corsican fritters or fritelle can be sweet and round, made of chestnut flour (farine de châtaigne) or made of wheat flour and filled with sausage (fritelli di salciccia) or Brocciu (fritelli di casgiu frescu) or with apples flavoured with the local citron (cédrat).

Other names are fritelli or friteddi.
