Oursons guimauve ‘marshmallow bear cubs’ are one of the best loved sweets in France. You may also see ‘teddy bears’ or nounours à la guimauve. They range from cheap ones in the supermarket to deluxe ones covered in the finest dark, milk or white chocolate in a chocolatier.
Their cousins, the gummy bears, are ours gommeux.
