Food cooked in the oven or on the stove, usually μαγειρευτά φαγητά (magireftá fayitá)– as opposed to food cooked on a grill at a taverna. It also means ready-prepared dishes on the look-and-point steam table that you can still find in some traditional restaurants, or on ferry boats.
