Tiganites: frittelle greche

Little pancakes. Made with flour, water and salt and fried in in their simplest form, although there are a hundred variations. They are often served warm with honey, sugar, or jam, but can be savoury too.

πατατες τηγανίτες (patates tiganites) are Greek chips or fresh fries, fried in olive oil with oregano sprinkled on top.
