Spiced 'baked' raki from Amorgos, similar to rakomelo but tempered down to 20% alcohol with caramelized sugar, honey and herbs. It's usually served at room temperature and celebrated with a Psimeni Raki festival on 27 July.


Visitors to the island's stunning Chozoviotissa monastery are often offered a tipple, and it's a popular postprandial drink in the island's tavernas.
