Acorn. Long synonymous with the food of poverty, acorns and their flour are enjoying a revival in Greece, especially thanks to the Oakmeal initiative on the island of Kea. Acorns are gluten free and high in vitamins; the company currently makes flour, cookies and a chew, and have numerous shops around Greece.
