vatrachos

βάτραχος

Frog. Rare on Greek dinner plates, but βατραχοποδαρα (vatrachopodara)–frog's legs– are a specialty of the tavernas on the famously nameless Island in Ioannina's Lake Pamvotida, along with eels and trout, all cooked on hot ceramic tiles.
