vátrachos

βάτραχος

Frog.

Rare on Greek dinner plates, but βατραχοπόδαρα (vatrachopódara)–frog's legs–are a specialty of the tavernas on the famously nameless Island in Ioánnina's Lake Pamvótida, along with eels and trout, all cooked on hot ceramic tiles.
