perék

περέκ

Περέκ (perek) were introduced similar to Indian chapatis, made of flour, water and salt, then heated on a griddle until crispy. Then they are sprinkled with water, and layered with feta and herbs, or grated cheese and/or ham or other ingredients, and fried until golden.

Also known as φυλλωτά (fyllota).
