sciuscelle

carob, sweet or soup

Several meanings: it's another word for carob; it's a Christmas sweet that looks like a carob, made with honey and spices and covered with chocolate; while in Puglia it's a creamy vegetable soup, with big dumplings made of breadcrumbs, eggs, spinach, cheese, mint and flour, which is also called pittule all’acqua.
