The Valdaostana word for zuppa. Two of the most popular kinds in the Valle d'Aosta are seupa de gri, made with barley, salt pork, potatoes and vegetables, and seupa à la vallpellinentze, a rich beef broth with Savoy cabbage, ham, salt pork and Fontina cheese.
