trifolato

with garlic and parsley

Trifolato something sliced 'as thinly as truffles'.

As a dish, the thinly sliced item (vegetables, kidneys, potatoes, or most commonly, mushrooms, or funghi trifolati) is prepared with or cooked in olive oil, chopped garlic, lemon and parsley, and sometimes anchovies.
