In Muravera, in Sardinia, they celebrate the crop in a colourful festival, the Sagra Agrumi, with beautiful costumes, a procession of ox-drawn carts and proud horses, a feast and scary beasts that seem to come straight out of the night of time.

The agrumi del Gargano (the Gargano is the only place in Puglia were citrus grows), are in the Ark of Taste, and includes oranges, lemons, and Seville oranges (melangoli).
