'sleeve' pasta

Maniche or mezze maniche: 'sleeves' or 'short sleeves', a similar to rigatoni. Nearly always ridged, and served with sauce.

maniche di frate: Literally, 'friars' sleeves'. Big tubes like cannelloni, only thicker and grooved.
