minnicchi

Also known as macarun chi fèr, miuich are made by rolling the pasta strips around a thin iron rod.

Other names for pasta rolled on rods across Italy include manatelle, strascinari, capunti, minuich, rascatielli, cavatieddi, cicatelli, cicatidde, mignuicchi, cazzarille, ciufele, cavasuneddi, gnuchitti and gnocculi.
