peach flavoured biscuits

Made in Piedmont's Susa Valley, these crunchy biscuits (losa or plural, lose, from the local word tegole). They are made with ground almonds, sugar, cocoa, egg white and a peach, and have to slice as soon as they are baked to keep from crumbling. Designated PAT.
