curnat

Valtellina flatbread

Curnat (or cornat) is a baked flatbread made with butter, flour, sugar, eggs and baking powder, although another version, cornàt in padéla is cooked on a hot stone. The sweet version is often accompanied with jam or honey; the savoury version is served with cured meats.

The Sagra del Cornàt takes place in Sondalo in mid July
