meaty sauce with saffron

A dish introduced during the Catalan occupation of Sardinia, Su Guisado is generally made with beef, although some add up to three other meats as well. Garlic, onion, red wine, basil, bay leaves, rosemary and saffron add flavour; it's the classic sauce for andarinos.
