Catalonia's film archive
Recently moved to its new headquarters in a historic, restored cinema in the Raval, the Filmoteca is a cinema buff's dream, as presenting many as four or five different classics every day except Monday, from 5pm.
It generally presents two theme-based film cycles at a time, with three showings daily, and also hosts/sponsors a variety of festivals. Many of the films are in English (for other cinemas that show films in the original versions, see here). There's also a library and an exhibition space.
