Sala Apolo
The Big Noise on the Paral.lel
One of the biggest and best-known clubs in town, helping to bring the old music hall district of the Paral.lel back to life. There's something going almost every night: rock, indie, all the minor youth cults and occasionally some swing jazz or Latin.
There are two halls, the Apolo and the smaller 'Apolo Lab'; both are also used as concert venues (usually at 8 or 9 with dance club afterwards). The Apolo is famous, and almost obligatory for young too-rists, for their wild Nasty Mondays and Crappy Tuesdays parties, starting at about midnight. There's an Apolo Store a couple of doors down for memories to take home.
