Poble Sec

Terraces in Poble Sec

The district south of Avinguda Paral.lel and El Ravel and north of Montjuïc is the 'Dry town', Poble Sec, a slightly tattered, mostly residential, multicultural district that is up and coming among the locals as a place to hang out in the evening, especially along pedestrian Carrer Blai with its old characterful bars and funky new cafés. Although the Paral.lel is an infernal traffic chute, the little streets branching off are laid back and fun to explore.
