Cooltra Scooters
Get around like a local
At Cooltra you can rent a scooter (regular or electric) to buzz around Barcelona on your own or on a small group tour. There are three of these to choose from: a four-hour city tour, a four-hour seaside and fun tour (both €50), or a three hour tour of Barcelona's Modernista highlights (€40). Check their website for schedules; you can also book online.
To rent a 125cc moped in Spain you need to have had a moped, motorcycle or car driving licence for three years.
You can also rent roller blades to glide along the seafront.
