Pagani Zonda

The burning desire to create the ultimate handcrafted luxury super car in Italy's Motor Valley is far from dead. Horacio Pagani, born in Argentina in 1955, built and designed many things early in his career—bar furniture, camper vans, combine harvesters, orthopaedic beds and an F2 single seater race car before he moved to Italy in 1983.

After working with Lamborghini, designing parts of its F1 engine and the chassis of its Diabolo model, Pagani set up his own company in San Cesario sul Panaro, and started production of the Zonda, which had its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in 1999.

In 2011, Pagani's second major model, the Huayra hyper car, made its appearance, at the Geneva Motor Show. If you don't have €1.3 million to buy the ultimate boy's toy, you can at least come and watch them being made.
