Lollipops

Sucettes go back to the Middle Ages, when aristocrats who could afford sugar liked to lick it off a stick— similar to the still-produced suce miel.

Lollipop fans should try the excellent pointy ones made by Pierrot Gourmand since 1892, and Brittany’s sucettes du Val André handmade the old fashioned way in copper cauldrons since 1928.
