chestnut cake from Limoges


Burgou is a gâteau à la châtaigne made according to a secret recipe using chestnut flour and crème de marron, honey and powdered almonds, and comes with a chocolate chestnut leaf on top; look for it in the pastry shops across the Haute Vienne.
