pierrade

cooking on a hot stone

Pierrade de viande de porc, bœuf, poulet en novembre 2020.

Pierrade is a popular way of cooking outside or in restaurants (especially in the mountains), where diners prepare their own food (usually thinly sliced meats, fish or vegetables) on a hot stone or stone-like plate.

‘Pierrade’ is actually a patented name, but it has come into common usage.
