cramique

raisin bread

Pain fourré de raisins secs

Originally from Belgium (the first record of it goes back the 14th-century) but also popular in northern France, cramique is a soft brioche style bread filled with raisins, often eaten for breakfast or a snack. Some also serve it with foie gras.
