Salad. This can mean not only the same thing in English, but also a spread or a raw dip as in melitzanosalata. The most famous one is choriatikí saláta

Κηπουρού (kipouroú): a salad of carrots, celery, leeks and pickles in mayonnaise. A bit like a rossikí saláta.

σαλάτα Βουδαπέστη (saláta boudapésti): 'Budapest' salad, or chopped ham in mayonnaise, tinted red with ketchup

τυροσαλάτα (tyrosaláta): cheese salad
