A specialty of Komotiní, a long soutzoúki sausage-shaped sweet made by stringing walnuts on a thread and dipping them in thickened grape must similar to loukoúmi, before they are dried and dusted with powdered sugar.
You can get it in many flavours—rolled in sesame seeds, sliced almonds, ground pistachios and even ground Oreo cookies (!).
