Fig. They grow everywhere in Greece, and they go into preserves, jam, spoon sweets, tarts and souma and tyrozouli. Fresh ones roasted with feta are delicious.

Sun dried figs (ξερά συκά) go into a number of dishes as well, including the unusual skyomalda.
