Swordfish. All the fish sold in Greece is locally caught, mainly in the sea off Méhana, south of Kythera, and off Halkidikí, Kárpathos, and Límnos.

Fishing is banned between October 1st and January 1st.

In restaurants you usually find it grilled as steaks or baked with oil and lemon.
