Rose petal ‘sugar’ which is a bit like jam, often served as a spoon sweet (another name for it is τριαντάφυλλο γλυκό του κουταλιού triantáfyllo glykó tou koutalioú).
It’s often served by monks and nuns when you visit, along with a glass of ouzo and cold water. But there are several recipes online if you have organic rose petals and want to make your own (the best ones are the old fashioned kind that bloom in May).
