chick pea sandwich

The 'five and five' is street food and also soul food in the gritty port town of Livorno. Originally five cents worth of bread and five cents worth of torta di ceci (see farinata), now it's a sandwich on a roll or a focaccia. Some 5e5s come with a slice of baked aubergine inside too.
