Gian Antonio Selva
Architect of La Fenice
Neoclassical architect Gian Antonio Selva (1751–1819) was a precocious believer that form should follow function. He built several villas and churches in the Veneto, and most importantly, the Teatro La Fenice in Venice; he also designed the façade of San Maurizio.
