Espai Subirachs
Dedicated to the Sagrada Familia sculptor
Born in the Poble Nou district in 1927, Josep M. Subirachs was one of the best known sculptors of his generation. His most famous work, the controversial Passion Façade of the Sagrada Família, featuring over one hundred figures and the four bronze doors occupied most of his later career (1987 to 2005). He died in 2014.
Even if you don’t speak Catalan, the tour allows you to see his sculptures, drawings, engravings, lithographs, paintings, posters, jewellery and medals displayed in a building close to his house.
