Buses beyond Barcelona

Moving on

Estación del Norte

These long distance can be handy for day trips to Girona, the Costa Brava and around Catalonia, as well as for journeys across Spain and beyond. Barcelona Nord Bus Station or Estación del Norte (one of the prettiest bus stations in Europe!) is the main departure point. You can book tickets online before you go from 2 to 15 days in advance, although you will need a Barcelona address for delivery.

There are left luggage lockers and a tourist information office (open Mon-Sat 9-3), inexpensive pay car park (good for leaving your car for several days), and a bar/restaurant.

Some buses, especially for Tarragona, Tarragona province and Valencia, leave from Sants Bus Station, next to Sants train station.
