a shandy—or a mélange
A panaché is half beer and half fizzy lemonade, sold in small bottles. Because of its low alcohol content (around 1%) it’s a favourite of parents of teenage beginning drinkers.
A panaché with a dash of grenadine is a Monaco.
Panaché can also mean mix of ingredients as in a panaché de légumes.
